Soft glasses case made with Liberty fine needlecord, a metallic Essex Linen lining and hidden magnet closure to keep glasses scratch free

Description

I have a thing for fabric, which you may have noticed from what I have in my shop… I particularly have a thing for Liberty of London designs, needlecord and shiny metallic linen blends – all of which feature in this soft glasses case!

The fine and extremely soft needlecord on the outer of the case is a design by Liberty called ‘filigree’; a pretty intertwining abstract design in pinks, blues, greens and oranges on a black background. The lining of the case is a pale pink Essex Linen with shimmering iridescent metallic threads woven into it. Both layers are interfaced with woven cotton for longevity and the outer also has a layer of fleece to add a little protection for your glasses. There’s a decorative gentle curve to one open edge at the top and a magnet closure to keep your glasses secure – these are hidden in the lining so there’s nothing on the surface that might scratch your glasses. The final touch is the addition of a silver rivet at the bottom of the curved opening to add strength to what will be a stress point in use.

The standard case is the perfect size for regular sized ladies glasses / spectacles (19cm / 7.5″ long and 9cm /3.5″ wide), but I’d be happy to make you a case for larger sunglasses using this or another fabric you like – just message me to discuss what’s possible.
