Reversible grey ocean waves neckwarmer or scarf

Description

The ocean waves neckwarmer is crocheted from a hand dyed yarn made with mulberry silk and baby camel. The silk lends a beautiful sheen and drape to the scarf and the baby camel fibres add a soft halo effect.

The crochet stitch used means that this piece is totally reversible and it can be worn either as a tied neckwarmer, or as a shorter length scarf. It is light and soft and adds a cosy warmth without bulk. It is 138cm long and 14cm wide.

This particular colourway is called ‘Old Koala’. The dyers of these yarns have a very playful sense of humour when it comes to naming their shades, but the name is a good way to describe it too – the colours range from specks of cream, through lighter grey to darker grey.
