Imagine that you’re going out to dinner somewhere swanky. You’re wearing a lovely new dress but the fabric is light and there is a chill in the night air. You really don’t want to wear a jacket or coat, or a dowdy wrap, or a pashmina (everyone wears those and you’re far from common!). You need something light as air, yet warm and glamorous and capable of being stuffed into your handbag if it turns out to be warmer than you thought.
Enter the glamour waves wrap. A light as air and sparkly as a twinkling night sky, yet snuggly as a fluffy kitten. This wrap is crocheted from a yarn of blended mohair and silk, scattered with sequins. As well as wearing this as an evening wrap (with or without a pin to secure it), you can also wear it as a generous scarf under your coat on a cold winter’s morning – sequins cheer up everyone’s day!
The best way I can describe the colour of the wrap pictured is like a blood orange – it’s red, but with a little orange juice…
