Frame purse made with hand woven Harris Tweed and Liberty Tana Lawn, with a hand stitched light gold coloured metal frame

Description

This is a larger sized frame purse that will happily carry your cards, cash, a key, lip balm – it is surprisingly capacious!

I’ve made the purse by partnering beautiful hand woven Harris Tweeds in either black or rich orange, both lined with toning Liberty tana lawn prints.

I’ve added woven cotton interfacing to the tweed and the tana lawn to strengthen them, and I’ve added some soft fleece to the tweed that gives a puffy effect that feels nice in your hand.

The metal frame of the purse is a pale bronze colour and I’ve hand stitched it into place using a perle cotton. The purse frame has ‘eyes’ on the side so that you could attach a chain or wrist strap to, if you wished.
