If you go down to the woods today… you might need to take this flat bottomed and straight sided zippered pouch to carry some bear picnic snacks. Alternatively, it makes a perfect small simple purse, but is pretty roomy and big enough to use as a small make-up or cosmetics bag, or even as a sewing or craft pouch.
The outside of the pouch is made with a lovely quality soft linen and cotton blend by Kokka, printed with super cute bears and geometric shapes. I’ve interlined the outer to give it strength and structure, added fleece to provide softness, and lined it with a toning Essex Linen, which is a linen and cotton blend fabric by Robert Kaufman. The finishing touch is the good quality YKK zip.
Measurements: 9cm (3.5 inches) high, 17cm (7 inches) wide and 6.5cm (2.5 inches) deep and because of the shape, it happily stands up on its own, even when empty.
