Description
I have always been very fussy about the tea I drink as there are only a few flavours I really like. Because of this, I’ve always taken my own coffee and tea when I’m away from the house, usually in a baggy of some sort, but then I discovered the idea of a little wallet made especially to carry my tea bags, and I had to have one! Of course, being a fabric addict too, the idea of using 4 different fabrics to make it was pretty attractive to me too…
These cases have been made with a collection of Liberty of London cotton prints called ‘Tea for Two’ (please note that they’re not tana lawn, but regular quilting cottons) and a piece of soft pink metallic Essex Linen for extra bling! The outer and main lining panels are interfaced with woven cotton for strength and longevity and the inside has 4 slip pockets with enough room for up to 6 tea bags (you can easily fit 2 into each of the 2 top pockets, if you want to). The case has a foldover closure with a metal snap fastener and is top stitched all around for a neat, crisp finish.
Such a brilliant and thoughtful little gift for the tea lover in your life, either on it’s own, or maybe as part of a little gift package with a hand thrown mug and a package of their favourite tea?
