Pimp my project bag! Add a monogram, substitute the wristlet for a shoulder strap, or upgrade the internal slip pocket to a separate pouch

Why not add a hand embroidered monogram, or swap out the wristlet strap that comes with my standard and medium size bags for an adjustable shoulder strap? Or, perhaps you’d like to upgrade the internal slip pocket and change it to an onboard matching notions pouch that you can use with other bags?

Monograms:

I will hand embroider your initials, in the format of your choice, in an appropriate area on the bag – usually where shown in the photographs. If you have specific ideas about the colour thread you’d like me to use, please state when ordering, or, if you don’t have a preference, I’m happy to choose the most appropriate one to work with the fabrics on your behalf.

Please use the notes box when placing the order to confirm exactly what initials you’d like me to stitch and in what order – some people like their surname to be the middle, oversized initial and others prefer to have a first, middle, surname order.

Shoulder strap:

The shoulder strap I add will be fully removable via a lobster clasp on each end, attaching to a D ring on a fabric side tab on either side of the bag.

The strap will have an adjuster so that you can shorten or lengthen it to suit. The maximum wearable length when fully extended will be around 40″ / 102cm. If you want a shorter or longer strap, let me know when ordering and I’ll oblige if possible.

Because there’s a clasp on either end of the strap, you can of course also attach both ends to one side and fully shortened, it could be used as a wristlet as well.

Notions Pouch:

My standard zip top project bags have an internal slip pocket, made with the same fabric as the bag lining. As an alternative, I can omit the slip pocket and make you a zipped notions pouch (size is 6″ / 15cm wide by 4.75″ / 12cm tall) from the same fabrics as your project bag. This pouch will have a ring and clasp attached to the side, which you can use to anchor it inside your project bag, or attach to any other bag you want to use it with – so much quicker and simpler than constantly moving your notions from one bag to another.
