When you don’t want to carry a handbag but you want something a bit larger than my usual coin purse, this one is the perfect size. You can fit in cash, cards, a set of keys, a lip balm, even your phone, if it’s a little one.
The purse is made from a lovely bright and super colourful checked Harris Tweed, woven in the herringbone pattern. The lining of the purse is a pure silk in an iridescent lilac colour and there’s a small slip pocket on one side, perfectly credit card sized.
I’ve interfaced the outer and lining of the purse with woven cotton for strength and durability, as well as adding a layer of fleece to the outer for some additional substance. I then add a light bronze coloured metal frame, which is hand stitched into place with cotton perle thread.
