This is a larger sized frame purse that will happily carry your cards, cash, a key, lip balm – it is surprisingly capacious!
The feature fabric I selected to make this purse is a bright and colourful print of a sleeping fox called ‘Fox Nap’, by Tula Pink. I’ve partnered the print with a dark denim blue Essex Linen with a gold metallic thread running through it, which I’ve also used for the lining fabric. Both the outer and lining are interfaced with woven cotton and there’s also a soft layer of fleece padding on the outer, to give the purse’s contents some protection.
The bronze metal frame of the purse is hand stitched into place using a perle cotton in gold. Please see the photographs for the dimensions of the purse and an idea of the scale with some standard sized business cards, a credit sized card and some cash next to it.
