Coin purse made with lovely Bari J. cotton print outer, navy cotton interior, and a hand stitched bronze colour metal frame

Description

This little coin purse is the perfect size to pop into your pocket with a little cash, a key and maybe a lip balm, when you want to travel light. It’s also a great way to wrap up a money gift for a birthday or holiday gift.

I’ve lined the outer lovely Bari J. bird theme cotton print of the purse with woven cotton for strength and some soft fleece to give a puffy effect that feels nice in your hand. The inside of the purse is lined with a medium weight navy coloured cotton – hard wearing enough to stand up to those coins jiggling about.

The engraved metal frame of the purse is an antique bronze colour and I’ve hand stitched it into place using a light pink perle cotton.

The purse measures 8cm (3.25 inches) across at the mid part of the frame and 12cm (4.75 inches) at the widest point, at the bottom, where I’ve boxed off the corners to give a little depth to the purse of 3cm (1.25 inch). It stands 9cm (3.5 inches) tall and is large enough to carry a few cards as well as cash, if you want to.
