Large purse or small clutch with detachable wristlet in a really useful size, featuring a sleeping fox in blues, pinks and oranges

Description

This is the perfect wristlet bag when you’re not sure if you want a wallet or a handbag, but you know you want it to feature cute foxes and feathers! You could also use this bag as a pencil case, a make-up bag, or even a sewing or notions case – it’s the perfect size for so many uses.

The front and back of this bag are exactly the same and have been made by piecing together separate sections of fabric, starting with the super cute and colourful sleeping fox by Tula Pink, from her Chipper fabric collection. I added a lovely navy and white feather print to either side of the fox and then Essex Linen in a deep navy above and below, before top stitching to decorate. The exterior of the bag has several layers of interfacing to ensure it has structure and strength and there’s a large padded slip pocket inside, perfect for even a large smartphone to fit comfortably.

I’ve added a detachable wristlet to the side of the bag and there’s also a fabric loop in the side of the bag lining that’s perfect to clip your keys to. I’ve boxed the bottom corners of the bag to give it some depth (1.5″ / 4cm) and you could comfortably carry a little makeup, a small purse, your keys and smartphone with room to spare.
