The star shape is a bit of a Christmas cliché, but as my husband loves to tell me, clichés are clichés for a reason – lots of people like ’em!
These little stars can be used as ornaments or decorations, or even to make a little garland, hung on a pretty length of ribbon or twine, fixed to the wall or in a doorway. They are made with 40% wool felt and are totally hand stitched. I’ve hand stitched cute little silver beads to one side and iridescent sequins to the other side and then used embroidery thread to blanket stitch them together and create a little hanging thread.
I’m offering white or red felt colour choices here, but I’d be happy to make them in any colour you like, if you have a specific Christmas colour scheme – just contact me to discuss.
I’m offering these for sale in a set of 3 and you can buy them in various colour combos: all white, all red, or a mixture. The stars measure 10cm across.
