little hearts quilt

Description

This little hearts quilt is 90 cm square – it would make a lovely picnic rug for baby on a summer’s day.  The wadding inside is 100% cotton and it has been quilted using a range of traditional utility quilting stitches: hand ties, crow’s feet and popcorns.  If you’re not familiar with these utility style stitches, you should be aware that they look different on the reverse side of the quilt to how they appear on the front.  I’ve included a photograph of the reverse of the quilt to illustrate this.
