I’m relatively new to using ‘fancy’ stitch markers or progress keepers in my knitting and crochet, but I’ve soon caught onto the trend now that I’ve discovered all the cute enamel charms available!
These charms are 13mm tall and are lightweight, despite being made of metal. They come in the set of 3 different designs that you see here that depict very cute little cottages – one’s a cupcake shop, one a cafe and the other has a friendly little cat outside!
Each charm will have a split ring and a lobster clasp attached so that you can use them as stitch markers or progress keepers. One thing I’ve found since I started collecting stitch markers is that I like to be able to use them as both things and that I sometimes want to slip them onto larger needles, so I’ve used a slightly larger than usual split ring that you can slip onto a needle as large as 6mm easily. Because it’s a split ring, you can easily remove the lobster clasp and put it back on whenever you like, if you like. The lobster clasp easily slips onto a 4mm needle too – I think of it as Transformers for knitting!
