Description

This is a  ‘non-play with’ decorative type doll known as a ‘Tilda doll’, created by the Norwegian designer Tone Finnanger.  These  figures serve no other purpose than to look lovely and complement your decor.  You can sit them on a window sill, a piece of furniture or a shelf – anywhere they can get a bit of a lean on – or you could display them using figure stands that can be bought online (or made quite easily for the more adventurous amongst you!).

The figure is stuffed with a high loft fire retardant polyester stuffing and is made from a linen / cotton blend cloth.  She is 65cms from tip to toe and is wearing a trouser suit made from a halter neck top and balloon style pants that are drawn in at the knee.  Her jacket is made of stretch denim with gold lurex shot through it and the white buttons are made from tiny seed beads.  A crochet hat made from embroidery cotton and side pony tail tied with the same thread finish off the outfit

We can make the trouser suit from any of the fabrics shown here – you choose which you prefer (each print is shown with a 5p piece so you can better judge the pattern size).
