long lace haze scarf

Description

I’ve used a blended super kid mohair and silk yarn by Rowan yarns to knit this scarf in a lace stitch pattern with a reverse stocking stitch edging at each end. The colour combinations for this yarn have been cleverly put together by the master of colour ‘Kaffe Fassett’ and this colourway is a particular favourite of mine – it is both moody and playful at the same time, so would be ideal for anyone of that personality type (I’m sure we all know at least one person like that).

The scarf is a generous 214 cm long and 24 cm wide and can be worn in a number of ways. Because I have knit it using slightly larger size needles than necessary, it is very airy and light. It is also incredibly warm and soft and is perfect for brightening up a darker winter coat.
